Mark Birnbaum started his nightlife career as a promotions director in Ithica, NY in 1998. That year, Mr. Birnbaum launched and managed his first nightclub, a massive 22,000 sq. ft nightclub in Ithica, New York.
In 2002, Mark Birnbaum established the nightlife consulting agency Operative Ince., to open the club Lobby, a chic midtown Manhattan club. In 2003 the launch of Lobby was one of the most successful in nightlife history.
Mark Birnbaum began overseeing the marketing, public relations, promotions, and events for AER Lounge in 2004. Not long after its opening AER was named one of the top picks for nightclubs in the world, and number one in Manhattan by Conde Nast Traveler.
Today, in addition to owning and operating New York’s most exclusive nightclub Tenjune, Mark Birnbaum and partner Eugene Remm manage EMM Group Inc., an events and marketing company responsible for many of America’s most prestigious and star-studded events. EMM Group has their events in the most exciting cities in the country including New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Park City, and Chicago.
