Mark Birnbaum’s Booming Business

The hospitality industry’s leading man, Mark Birnbaum, is known for hosting the biggest events and providing style and excitement with every new venture he presents. Mark Birnbaum is the man behind New York City’s hottest spots, including Tenjune, Catch, Abe and Arthur’s, Chandelier Room, and SL.

Mark Birnbaum along with partners Eugene Remm and Michael Hirtenstein established EMM Group, a hospitality company, which has rapidly taken NYC by storm. Tenjune, Catch, Abe and Arthur’s, Chandelier Room, and SL, just to name a few, located in the meatpacking district of New York City, are home to A-listers, famous athletes and Hollywood royalty. Mark Birnbaum has even honed Top Chef Winner Hung Huynh at his very own Catch NYC. But before all his recent success, Mr. Birnbaum got his start as a promotions director 1998. His first big business endeavor included launching and managing a 22,000 square-foot nightclub. By 2002 he started his first business, a consulting company, and soon after he opened Lobby Nightclub. With the immediate success of Lobby Nightclub, Mr. Birnbaum went on to open, manage and promote a long list of successful, luxurious venues.

EMM Group manages a flourishing portfolio of restaurants and nightclubs in New York City and Miami. In addition, Mark Birnbaum, Eugene Remm and Michael Hirtenstein purchased The Estate in the Hamptons to host the summers largest events and parties. If there is one thing EMM Group knows, it’s how to stay relevant. From exclusive fashion shows to Superbowl parties and extravagant cocktail parties, EMM Group’s innovative ideas and trendy magnetism has launched them to unimaginable success.
